Welcome to The Mood Food Method — a four-week, self-paced online culinary and well-being course where you’ll cook alongside Britta, a professional chef with nearly 20 years of experience, while learning how nourishing food can support your mood, restore energy, and help you feel more grounded in everyday life.

Inside, you’ll prepare simple, mood-supportive meals inspired by Britta’s take on world cuisine while discovering kitchen rhythms that make nourishing yourself feel easier and more sustainable. Along the way, Britta shares the time-saving techniques and kitchen efficiencies she’s developed over nearly two decades as a chef, helping you create flavorful, nutrient-dense meals for you and your family with ease.

Each week also includes thoughtful mindset practices and reflections designed to remind you that nourishment extends beyond what’s on your plate. Through these practices, you’ll reconnect with a steadier, more grounded version of yourself and begin to experience nourishment as something that supports your body, your energy, and your overall well-being.

Hi! I’m Britta

— a health-supportive chef, workplace wellbeing educator, and curator of wellness experiences.

For nearly two decades, I’ve helped thousands of people—from individuals and families to professional athletes and public figures—transform how they feel through food.

A few years ago, my own life was turned upside down.

When the pandemic hit, my events business in New York came to an abrupt halt. Around the same time, my marriage ended—and the next morning I found out I was pregnant.

I moved across the country, navigating how I would rebuild my life and raise my daughter on my own.

Even though I’ve spent my career in the wellness world, there were seasons of my life—especially during times of stress and transition—when I relied on coping habits that didn’t truly support me.

This time, I knew I had to do something different.

So I made a promise to myself: to use what I knew as a health-supportive chef, along with the mindset practices I learned while living in Bali, to nourish myself deeply—from the inside out.

As I began moving through this chapter with more ease and steadiness, I noticed something else unfolding—the joy and calm my sweet Poppy felt each day. I knew, without question, it was connected to how I was nourishing myself.

From that lived experience—and a deep desire to support other women—the Mood Food Method was born.

I created this program to help you feel vibrant again. To move through life’s transitions with more grace, energy, and ease.

Tools that meet you where you are—and support you in real life.

This is the work I did when I needed it most.
And it’s the work I now teach other women.

So… are you ready to feel like you again?

Let’s nourish your body.
Let’s shift your mindset.

I want to help you live your most vibrant life.

For me, nourishment has never been about restriction.

It’s about balance. Listening to your body. Cooking with intention. And allowing room for joy at the table.

That philosophy has become the foundation of how I cook — and a big part of what inspired the Mood Food Method.

What You’ll Experience Each Week

When you press play each week, you step into a calm, light-filled kitchen.

It feels like a shift — like entering a culinary destination rather than logging into another online program.

The space is elevated yet the cooking is simple.

You’re not just watching someone cook.

You’re cooking alongside Chef Britta, preparing meals for your week.

Each week begins with a short grounding practice.

It feels like a mini retreat you return to week after week.

Together, you’ll prepare foundational meals for the week — a nourishing breakfast, vibrant salads with homemade dressings, and simple, satisfying dinners with recipes that build effortlessly from one another.

Most women spend about 2–3 hours preparing nourishing meals for the week, depending on their pace and experience in the kitchen. After that, many of your meals are already prepared or ready to come together in minutes throughout the week.

Each week builds upon the last, designed to empower you with the skills and confidence to nourish yourself with ease.

Britta will also share the pantry staples and ingredients she personally recommends — from oils and sea salts to spices and seasonal ingredients that bring dishes to life.

Think of it as a mini culinary school for real life — where you’ll learn the skills and techniques that make nourishing meals feel simple, beautiful, and satisfying to prepare.

  • You’ll have ongoing access to the program, so you can move at your own pace, revisit recipes, and return to the grounding practices whenever you need a reset.

  • This program was created for real life. The recipes are repeatable and efficient, the grocery lists save time, and the grounding practices are intentionally short. Even small moments can make a meaningful difference.

  • Most likely, yes. Women come into this program from many different seasons of life—busy work schedules, motherhood, career transitions, grief, divorce, or simply wanting to feel better. The Mood Food Method is flexible and adaptable, so you can apply it in a way that supports your life.

  • Yes. This isn’t a diet or a rigid meal plan. The Mood Food Method focuses on teaching you how to nourish yourself—through food, mindset, and self-connection—so you can carry the tools with you long after the program ends. It’s about confidence, calm, and sustainability, not perfection.

  • “Normally, when I find a recipe I think is interesting. It has an overwhelming number of ingredients. These meals were so simple and uncomplicated and did not intimidate me. The video was really helpful as well too see how simple it really was.”

  • “I was surprised when the prep, cooking, and cleaning for the whole week only took three hours out of one single day. Having refrigerator full of nourishing options that I could mix and match to create whatever I wanted was so comforting, and I actually looked forward to preparing dinner.”

  • “In the evenings, I normally crave a glass of wine or something crunchy like tortilla chips. During this particular week, I would wander in my pantry, out of habit, and stare at the bag of chips. I had no interest in eating any. At first, I didn’t know why I just thought maybe I just didn’t want it that night for some reason but when I consistently walked in there each night and didn’t grab the chips, I knew it had to be from all of the nourishment I received from the food and the ease of having homemade nourishing food at my fingertips at any point of the day.”

  • “I can’t believe how delicious and fresh the flavors are and that I was able to make this in my kitchen. I am literally astounded at how amazing each and every thing that I made this week tastes. You are so creative and a freaking food genius.

  • “My energy level was steady and strong around the clock. I used to practice intermittent fasting and not eat until noon. I knew this wasn’t good for my body, especially after my nutritionist said I should be eating more protein and eating it first thing in the morning. It went against my normal habits of intermittent fasting, but I embraced that this week. Just changing that habit alone created a new source of power and strength that I didn’t have before. My usual low mood evenings disappeared. Now I realize the low mood evenings were the reason why I would grab those chips or crave a glass of wine.”

  • “I just have to say (after making all the food for week one of the course) I’m so glad I can now finally tap into your mind to experience what the true joy of cooking feels like.”

  • “After I had all my ingredients and carved out time to start, with the first recipe and then realized how simple and quick each recipe was, that’s when I realized that I got this.”

  • “As a busy executive, my days are full, and my mental bandwidth is limited. This course felt like a true reset. Being transported into the beautifully designed kitchen each week gave me a sense of calm and inspiration, while the grounding exercises and journal prompts helped me

  • “I came to this course while moving through a season of grief, when caring for myself felt hard and overwhelming. Being transported into the calm, beautifully designed kitchen each week felt comforting—like a gentle invitation to breathe again. The grounding exercises and journaling helped me process emotions I had been carrying quietly, and the simple meals made nourishment feel possible without effort. Cooking became a form of care, not pressure. I left feeling softer, steadier, and more supported in my body and heart.”

  • “Your veggies are so fricking good. My broccoli never tasted this good.”

  • “Your depth of experience shows in the smallest details. You’ve mastered how to make food feel effortless and elegant without being overwhelming. Combined with your warm, steady energy and personal story, it made this experience incredibly inspiring and approachable.”
